No, he did it on purpose to be nervous or something. He was performing a concert in Sydney, Australia last Friday when he knocked out his tooth with the microphone!
He said:

It must have been so sensitive and painful, cold air blasts and vibrations through him as he sang notes with her beautiful voice.
